ISPT joins Mother's Day Classic to raise funds for breast and ovarian cancer research

On Sunday 12 May 2024, ISPT partnered with the Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic to raise much-needed funds for breast and ovarian cancer research.

Over the past 26 years, the Mother’s Day Classic has raised $44 million to fund life-saving breast cancer research. These funds are helping researchers to help detect tumours earlier, improve treatment outcomes, and ultimately save lives. For example, since the Mother’s Day Classic began in 1998, the relative 5-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 84% to 92%.

As a proud long term partner of the event, our people once again showed their support by participating in one the 70 events held around the country, and by increasing awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast and ovarian cancer through our portfolio of retail and office precincts.

At the official event villages in Melbourne and Sydney, ISPT joined the many thousands of participants walking or running to put their foot down to fund research, with bustling activities to show our support and commitment to creating a positive impact.

In addition to our sponsorship, ISPT also raised a further $6,100 towards breast and ovarian cancer research through collective fundraising efforts.

Group Executive, Marketing & Corporate Affairs Madeleine Tomczyk commented, “We are proud to be a long term sponsor of this important event for 17 years, supporting the Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic to create lasting positive impact through vital breast and ovarian cancer research.”
