ISPT celebrates 30 years on 28 June 2024, reflecting on a remarkable journey and celebrating our achievements at this important milestone.
Founded in 1994 by AustralianSuper (then Australian Retirement Fund (ARF) and the Superannuation Trust of Australia (STA)), Cbus and HESTA, ISPT was built on a shared vision to create long-term sustainable value for members through property investment and active management. Fast forward three decades, we have grown to 31 investors, $21 billion in funds under management, and a portfolio of over 140 quality assets, delivering strong, stable returns over the long-term.
ISPT has emerged as a leader in the property investment landscape and our commitment to delivering quality outcomes has reinforced our standing as a trusted partner. From iconic office towers to vibrant retail precincts, ISPT has helped shape the urban fabric and created places that bring people together and foster connection.
Our impact extends beyond bricks and mortar. We have been catalysts for positive change through sustainable design and operations and community engagement. We’ve championed green initiatives, supported local charities and communities, and empowered our employees to make a difference. As an early ESG adopter, our first sustainability initiative was the establishment of Australia’s first blackwater treatment plant in 2006, and we are now on track to be 100% powered by renewable energy by early 2025.
