ISPT wins best heritage development 2013

At the 2013 Property Council of Australia Innovation and Excellence Awards the RM Hope Building at 2 National Circuit, Barton, ACT was recognised as the Best Heritage Development for 2013.

The RM Hope Building forms part of ISPT’s National Circuit precinct located in Canberra’s Parliamentary Precinct. The building was home to the former Patents Office from 1941 through to 1971, then accomodated the Australian Federal Police and the British High Commission prior to being disused.

The RM hope Building is a two level office building that has been retained and transformed into a modern 5,250m2 office building, but also now houses the Office of National Assessment which has some of the highest and sophisticated security requirements for any office in Australia.
