COS to open first Australian store at The Strand Melbourne
The retail revitalisation of Melbourne’s CBD continues with The Strand Melbourne, owned by ISPT, nearing completion of a $20 million refurbishment into a premium retail destination.
Sam Curry, General Manager, Retail Services, ISPT, said: “the redevelopment of The Strand Melbourne will create a uniquely Melbourne retail destination. The refurbishment will see The Strand Melbourne take its place among the city’s most iconic laneways and arcades – offering an exciting mix of fashion and lifestyle retailers including the international brand COS who will open their first store in the Southern Hemisphere later this year”.
COS, which stands for Collection of Style, is H&M’s second largest brand. COS are renowned for offering men and women style over fashion, core wardrobe essentials and garments that evoke timeless modernity. There are around 80 COS stores across Europe and the UK.
The redeveloped Centre will comprise 2,300 sqm of specialty space including premium retail tenancies along Elizabeth Street.
