ISPT releases FY2020 Modern Slavery Statement

Our Modern Slavery Statement outlines our commitments and progress in addressing modern slavery risks in our supply chains. Respect for human rights, including labour rights, is a priority area for ISPT and our partners, and a key consideration within our broader ESG strategy. Our Modern Slavery Statement is an expression of our beliefs and an extension of our ‘do no harm’ investment and operating philosophy.

Alicia Maynard, General Manager of Sustainability & Technical Services says

“As a responsible investor, we acknowledge the criticality of best practice labour standards and working conditions across our entire supply chain. We’re building on our work as a founding member of the Cleaning Accountability Framework and ISPT’s national cleaning workforce and applying the same rigor and transparency across other supplier agreements where vulnerable workers have been identified.”

Holding ourselves accountable

ISPT is aware modern slavery exists in our industry and we’re doing our part, as property leaders, to prevent and address the risks in our operations and supply chains. We’ve implemented policies, processes and guidelines to strengthen our commitment to this cause and we partner with organisations who can demonstrate fair and ethical practices.

We believe that socially and environmentally sustainable companies create long-term value for our Investors and better futures for our customers and communities.
