ISPT appoints Indigenous cleaning company

We’re excited to announce our partnership with Killara Services, an Aboriginal owned and operated cleaning company dedicated to real and sustainable employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians.

ISPT has awarded Killara Services the cleaning contract for three of our Sydney properties, 1 & 2 Julius Avenue, North Ryde and The Barrington, 10 Smith Street, Paramatta.

Steven Peters, Acting General Manager, ESG says the appointment reflects our Flag on the Hill target to embed indigenous reconciliation inclusion and diversity principles into all business processes by 2025.

“Earlier this year ISPT released our inaugural Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan, which outlines the steps we’re taking toward genuine and meaningful reconciliation. The appointment of Killara Services, managed by our property partner CBRE, is a great example of how we’re holding ourselves to account and inviting our people, partners and stakeholders to join us on this journey.”

Promoting a fair, sustainable and diverse property industry

ISPT has made a continuous effort to lift awareness and drive industry change through our formal policies on modern slavery, ethical supply chains and responsible sourcing, along with our reconciliation targets. Diversity and inclusion are integral to our workplace culture, and we extend these principles to the business partners and suppliers we choose to work with. We’re thrilled with the appointment of Killara Services and look forward to a long and successful working relationship.
