Buildings shine red in support of Heart Foundation Appeal
The lights on Melbourne’s GPO and Brisbane’s Central Plaza will shine red from 1 – 8 September 2016 in support of the Heart Foundation’s Big Heart Appeal.
The Big Heart Appeal takes place each September, with more than 65,000 big-hearted volunteers from across the country knocking on doors in their neighbourhood to help raise over $2.5 million to fund world-class research.
Alicia Maynard, General Manager, Sustainability & Technical Services at ISPT said ISPT is proud to be supporting the campaign. “ISPT is utilising the buildings in our property portfolio by lighting them up in red and running events to profile the Heart Foundation’s Big Heart Appeal,” she said.
“We have the opportunity to reach communities that use and visit our buildings across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra to raise awareness that heart disease is Australia’s number one killer and takes away a precious life every 26 minutes.”
