ISPT recently lodged a development application to revitalise part of Canberra CBD. The plans include upgraded amenity, a new childcare facility and a pedestrian plaza between the two commercial towers at 7 London Circuit and 18 Marcus Clarke Street.
Transforming the precinct
The development plans encourage flow between the two buildings through a curated journey, with the light rail extension and enhanced entry and drop off zones improving ease of use. Fresh cafes and dining options will create a new experience and bring a sense of belonging to the precinct.
Melinda Van der Westhuizen, General Manager of Commercial Services says
“The rejuvenation of this precinct is centred on the creation of a people’s plaza at William Clemens Lane. This will be a place for community connection, with upgraded amenities, a childcare facility and a pavilion with seating and rejuvenation areas amongst a canopy of trees and greenery.
ISPT is designing a space that works for the wellbeing of our customers and creates positive experiences for the surrounding community.”
