ISPT Mandate facilitates Hostplus' investment in $350M Morphettville Racecourse redevelopment

Hostplus, one of Australia’s largest super funds, will partner with the South Australian Jockey Club and Villawood Properties for a redevelopment of the Morphettville Racecourse in South Australia. A 7.5ha precinct will be created comprising a mix of residential, retail, food and beverage uses. The racecourse redevelopment is expected to support up to 700 construction jobs, with work due to commence mid-2024.

This is the sixth investment opportunity for Hostplus facilitated by ISPT’s Mandate service, which includes ISPT’s management of Hostplus’ co-investment in the $2B mixed use redevelopment of Victoria’s Moonee Valley Racecourse with the Moonee Valley Racing Club and Hamton Property Group.
