Our Community Kickstart by ISPT grants program celebrates organisations who embody ISPT’s value of care through projects and services for the community. Promoted through ISPT’s shopping centres we’ve now awarded 13 local community groups across Australia and gifted a total of $115,000 in funding to support them.

Helping create positive change
Each group will receive between $5,000 and $10,000 to help them continue the great work they do in their respective communities. And over 90 applicants were received across Australia.

Congratulations to all of our recipients including in Kincumber, NSW, the Lions Club of Terrigal-Wamberal awarded $10,000 which will be used to provide service to communities affected by the recent floods. In Lakelands, WA, Story Dogs intend to put their $10,000 grant towards training and registering 5 new dog teams to be placed into schools to assist children with their reading.

The recipients were decided the following criteria:

  • showing commitment and investing into the local community
  • demonstrating new initiatives and better solutions that benefit the local community
  • cultivating a shared future

Rosemary Condron-Calic, National Portfolio Manager says

“The Community Kickstart by ISPT grants program is a tangible way ISPT can recognise, celebrate and support local groups and service across Australia. The funding this year will enable programs for vulnerable families, help facilitate the running of local community events, new equipment in community centres and more.”

We started the Community Kickstart by ISPT grants program to give back to the local heroes who have been the lifeblood of these communities and kept them united during difficult times.
