At ISPT, we have adopted best practices in our responsibilities to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE). This approach is important in creating places where our people, tenant partners, customers, and communities are safe and healthy. This is a top priority for ISPT.

 

We maintain a ‘do no harm’ investment and operating philosophy, which is embedded throughout our operations by ongoing dialogue around HSE with our team and business partners. Our performance standards also help guide our partners to strengthen their management of HSE risks, encompassing work health and safety, environmental compliance, and physical security.

 

ISPT regularly measures HSE performance, through Shield, our online HSE platform, a multi-module platform that captures HSE incidents, hazards, and authority interaction data; property audits and assessments; checklists and risk management.

 

Every ISPT property now has a tailored, site-specific HSE risk register on Shield. By setting these standards and processes, and actively focusing on pockets of potential underperformance, we have been able to deliver sustained HSE performance gains over time.

 

The ISPT Board and ARCC maintain oversight of ISPT’s HSE performance with the ISPT Board having ultimate responsibility for HSE. Reflecting the importance of both potential risks and our focus on safety, we have substantially evolved the HSE Management Board and committee reporting which now provides enhanced analysis and depth on the issues.
