Cath was appointed Chair of the ISPT Board on 13 December 2024. Cath is also Chair of the IFM Investors Board, Industry Super Holdings (ISH) and The New Daily (TND), and a Director of Industry Fund Services (IFS).

Cath has worked for many years in senior roles in both the superannuation industry and union movement. She was the Chief Executive of IFS and Chief Executive of the Australian Government Employees Superannuation Trust (AGEST) from 2010 until its merger with AustralianSuper in 2013. Prior to this, Cath was a Senior Industrial Officer at the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU). She has held a number of directorships and committee positions throughout her career, including Director of AustralianSuper, Director of AGEST Super and Director of Ausgrid.

Cath is currently Chair of the Royal Women's Hospital and Jobs and Skills Australia Ministerial Advisory Board, and a Director of the Melbourne Arts Precinct Corporation.

Grant has more than 35 years' experience as a senior executive, adviser and investment banker.

Throughout his career, Grant has completed over 50 strategic transactions and advised 30 of the ASX50 companies, as well as large global and private companies across infrastructure, financial services, industrial, resources, private equity and property sectors. Grant is currently a non-executive Director of Sims Limited and a member of their Audit Committee, and Chair of the Housing Hub. Most recently, Grant was CFO at TPG Telecom and previously, CFO at Alumina Limited. He was also a Senior Adviser, Finance at ANZ Banking Group, and Head of Investment Banking (Australia and New Zealand) at JP Morgan. Grant served as a non-executive Director of Mission Australia from 2010 to 2018.

John W.H. Denton AO is the Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). He is a global business leader and international advisor on policy and a legal expert on international trade and investment.

In 2022, John was appointed by United Nations Secretary General to represent the global private sector on the newly formed Steering Committee of the UN Global Crisis Response Group on Food, Energy and Finance.

John is the Co-chair of the Business 20 (B20) finance and infrastructure taskforce, as well as a founding member of the B20, and Co-founder of the Australia–China CEO Roundtable and Patron of UNHCR in Australia. He is also Chair of the Moeller Institute Advisory Board at the University of Cambridge, and Chair of the Advisory Board of Veracity, a global advisory group. John is also Chair of the ICC Merchants of Peace Foundation and the UN Business and Human Security Initiative.

In addition, John serves on the Board of the UN Development Programme’s Impact Investing Steering Group and UNICEF’s global education initiative, GenU, and he is a member of the Advisory Board of the African Green Infrastructure Investment Bank (AfGIIB) and the G7 Working Group on Impact Investment. John is also an Ex-Officio member of the WTO Business Advisory Group; member of the QUAD Fellowship Advisory Council and member of the COP 28 steering committee.

A former diplomat, John co-led the Australian Government’s 2012 White Paper on “Australia in the Asian Century” and previously chaired the APEC Finance and Economics Working Group. Prior to joining ICC, he served for two decades as Partner and CEO of Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia’s leading independent law firm.

In 2015, John was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) for his services to the business community, the arts and the rights of refugees, including as a founder of Human Rights Watch (Australia) and Teach for Australia.

Carol Gray is a former senior executive in the financial services industry with positions including President Equifax Canada and Executive Vice-President at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Carol is a Director of American Express Bank of Canada and chairs the board’s Risk Committee. Carol is a volunteer faculty member and Advisor to the Directors and Chief Risk Officers Institute (DCROI), a global not for profit learning and research institute for the advancement of best practices in risk governance.

Carol has previously served on the boards of Trent University, Infrastructure Ontario and Lands Corporation, Ontario Realty Corporation, TBay Telecommunications, and several not-for-profit Boards in Toronto and Calgary, Canada. Carol holds a Certificate in Sustainable Investing from the Stern School of Business (New York University). She is a recipient of the Volunteer Service Award from the Government of Ontario and DCROI’s Exemplar Risk Award.

Deborah is a Non-Executive Director, Advisor and Consultant.

Deborah is currently Chair of the Tiverton Agriculture Impact Fund and a Non-Executive Director of the Bank of Queensland where she is Chair of the People, Culture and Remuneration Committee and serves on several other Committees. She was previously a Director of ME Bank and Downforce Technologies Limited.

Deborah’s earlier consulting and advisory career over 30 years, spanned a wide range of industries including Financial Services, Energy and Resources, Industrials, Property, Infrastructure and Regulated Utilities, both in Australia and internationally. As Managing Director and founding partner of JMW Consultants (Asia Pacific), her corporate support included strategic advice, organisational transformation, leadership transition and development for CEOs/senior executives, and building synergies between strategy, culture and performance.

Ming Long has over a decade of board experience with significant experience as a Chair, CEO and CFO leading listed and unlisted entities, through challenging and uncertain economic environments, and M&A activities.

Ming is currently a non-executive director of Telstra, QBE Insurance (Auspac), Committee for Economic Development in Australia (CEDA), and Deputy Chair of the CSIRO. She is also on ASIC’s Corporate Governance Consultative Committee and AICD’s Climate Governance Initiative Council. Ming was previously Chair of AMP Capital Funds Management Limited, Diversity Council Australia, and a non-executive director of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.

Ming has a Bachelor of Economics & Laws from the University of Sydney, and an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women.

In 2020, Ming was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her significant service to the financial and real estate sectors, and to diversity and inclusion.

Lindsay Tanner is a former member of the Australian Government as Minister for Finance from 2007 to 2010 and currently serves as Director of the Suncorp Group, Virgin Australia International and the Future Skills Organisation.

Mr Tanner has previously served as Chair of the Mitchell Institute for Health and Education Research, Australasian Railway Association, Certane Group and Essendon Football Club. He has also served as Director of National Financial Solutions Pty Ltd and Covata Ltd, as well as Member of the Department of Defence First Principles Review and Australian Advisory Board to Canada Steamships Ltd.

Mr Tanner served as the Federal Member for Melbourne from 1993-2010 and following his time in the Federal Parliament was a Special Advisor to Lazard Australia from 2010-2021. Mr Tanner has also held the roles of Assistant Secretary and Secretary of the Federated Clerks Union (Victorian Branch).

Theresa J. Whitmarsh is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Washington State Investment Board (WSIB), one of the United States’ leading institutional investors, managing over $185 billion of state pension, insurance, and other assets. She joined the WSIB in 2003 as Chief Operating Officer and was named CEO in 2009, a position she held through 2021.

Theresa serves on a number of industry boards and advisory councils. She is Chair of the Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School, Strategic Advisor at FCLTGlobal and an ESG Advisory Council Member at Neuberger Berman. She holds advisory roles with several asset management firms.

Prior to her time with the WSIB, Theresa had 20 years of experience in business, government, and media. She has a Master of Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Seattle Pacific University. Theresa is a past Chair of the Council of Institutional Investors and the Pacific Pension & Investment Institute, and she is also a former director of the International Centre for Pension Management, and a former external advisor on the ABP Investment Committee. She was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Long Term Investing and an active contributor to WEF initiatives.

Else Bos is an accomplished leader in the financial services industry with a distinguished career spanning more than three decades. She served as an Executive Board Member and Chair of Prudential Supervision at De Nederlandsche Bank N.V., where she oversaw insurance supervision, pension supervision, and supervision policy.

Before joining De Nederlandsche Bank, Else was the CEO and Chair of the Executive Committee at PGGM NV, one of the largest pension fund service providers in the Netherlands. Ms. Bos's career has included senior positions at ABN AMRO Asset Management and NIB Capital Asset Management. Her career has been marked by her ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive strategic growth.

Ms. Bos has also served as a Trustee of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation and member of the Board of the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment (UN PRI).

Ms. Bos holds a degree in Econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has completed an advanced management program at IMD Business School. She has been actively involved in different boards and advisory committees, including the Financial Stability Board, European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority, and the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
