Dandenong Works, originally a purpose-built factory for local manufacturing during World War II, it became home to the International Harvester Company in 1952. On April 1992, after years of ongoing financial troubles, IVECO assumed ownership of the International Harvester Company of Australia’s truck division that became IVECO Trucks Australia Ltd. in 2002
