2023 Year in review

A hallmark achievement for 2023 was the launch of the new 477 on Pitt office precinct in the heart of Sydney's Tech Central

Works commenced on the $600m UNSW Health Translation Hub in 2023, in partnership with UNSW, Plenary Group and co-owners HESTA and UniSuper

It’s been a time of transformation at ISPT over the past 12 months as we set out to evolve our business and build on our strong foundations of the past 29 years.

We are proud of our achievements across the year with key highlights including:

  • Launch of the flagship precinct 477 on Pitt in Sydney’s innovative Tech Central.
  • Securing over 87,000sqm in office leasing deals nationally.
  • Completing PortLink Logistics Estate, a 127,800sqm prime grade industrial site in the core of western Melbourne’s industrial market.
  • Delivering 138,000sqm of industrial projects nationally.
  • Divesting 170 Queen Street, Brisbane for $145m – the largest CBD retail transaction in Australia this year.
  • Delivering a 7.5% improvement in the portfolio MAT across 50 managed retail assets and welcoming over 123.9m customer visits to our centres, up 9.3%.
  • Celebrating the commencement of works on the $600m UNSW Health Translation Hub with our partners HESTA and UniSuper, as part of the Plenary Health consortium.
  • Progressing our significant development pipeline with a focus on the high conviction sectors of healthcare and life sciences, residential and industrial.
  • ISPT Core Fund awarded the #1 ranking against peers as a Global Sector Leader in the GRESB Real Estate Assessment – Development Benchmark for the third year, while three of our funds achieved the highest rating of GRESB 5 Stars.
  • 84% of ISPT’s electricity needs across the portfolio are now generated from renewables with a further 14 assets set to be powered by renewables from 2025 – bringing us even closer to our target to be 100% powered by renewable energy.
  • Reaching our gender targets of 40/40/20 at all levels of leadership, including the Board, achieving the highest quartile for gender targets within the Property Champions of Change Group.
  • Investing $4.8m in social impact activities through community contributions, programs and partnerships and direct ISPT Community Committee donations.
